Part 1 looks at how Nyerere’s policies of supporting the oppressed and the Palestinian cause have been abandoned in Tanzanian favour of economic diplomacy advocated by the West.
Part 2 looks at how Tanzania’s new foreign policy of economic diplomacy has failed in bringing prosperity and instead has opened doors to religious tensions between Muslims and Christians.
The documentary was the first in its kind when it was released on 2002. Iran is producing some exciting films today. However, one of its industry’s most fascinating contradictions is that contrary to the percieved status of women in Iran, the number of female filmmakers, who produce exceptional works, is constantly increasing.
